I'm British and I've lived in Mongolia for over three years. I've done a fair bit of independent travel in Mongolia, including hitch hiking 4500km out to the West and back over 2 months, and several multi km horse treks including the beautiful Tsetserleg to Bayankhongor trek. My main interest is with horses, and I have a small herd a couple of hundred km West of UB, also some goats and a pregnant camel! I bought a ger which I lived in for three years, and which has travelled with me from the ger suburbs of UB to the open steppe in Arkhangai and Tuv aimags, and finally over to Gachuurt on the West side of UB. The birth of my daughter this year has however forced me back to reality, into an apartment and a full time job, which is how I came to be managing Mongolian Resorts! Please
